HUSSAR SABRE FRINGIA

Hungary, after 1700 Slightly curved single-edged sabre with fuller. Engraved inscription „FRINGIA“, engraving of stars, moon and sun. Guard and handle made of bronze. Handle covered by dark leather. Scabbard covered by black leather with forged metal sheet and two holes for hanging the sabre. The garniture is decorated with a Baroque-style wrought motif. Length of blade 81 cm.
