PERCUSSION PISTOL

Europe, around 1750
Cylindrical to faceted barrel, originally with silver front sight, smooth bore, calibre 13 mm. Originally flintlock, changed to percussion. Steel lock and hammer, unmarked. Functional mechanism. Bronze garniture, decorated with Baroque engravings. Pierced décor and motif of lion`s head in scrolls. Mascaron on stock. Stock of walnut wood with matching décor. Steel ramrod under the barrel. Barrel length 27 cm. Total length 44 cm. Condition C. Removed front sight. Chipped stock. Probably non-original ramrod.
