SEASHORE
Probably 1879 or 1880
Oil on board, 16x28 cm, signed lower right „Chittussi“. „In a monochrome gray-blue color, the painter sees with a slightly blurred optics the mood of a quiet place under a cloudy sky in a rather humid, dull day. The painting is a typical example of the Paysage intimme type following the Boudin tradition, developed exceptionally and diversely by masters of the Barbizon School.“ Framed.
