Mostly Germany, 18th - 19th century
Chrismatory (oil vessel): triangular container for holy oils with relief decoration of winged angel heads, handle in the shape of a dolphin, 3 removable containers for chrism, h. 6,5 cm, edge l. 10,5 cm. Pot with volute handle in Baroque style, fluted, on a higher foot, h. 21 cm. Pot with handle and hinged lid with acorn-shaped finial, on three spherical feet, engraved initials with the date "I.G.P.B.1737", h. 33 cm, marked: Johann Balthasar Leutwein, Öhringen (Hall), 1681-1757, Erwin Hintze [Hrsg.], Die deutschen Zinngießer und ihre Marken (Band 5): Süddeutsche Zinngiesser, T. 1, Aalen/Kronach, Leipzig 1927, p. 215, no. 1087. Hexagonal bottle with screw cap, wrought décor, h. 15 cm. Sugar bowl with hinged lid, oval base, twisted decoration in Rococo style, 12x10,5x8 cm. Condiment set (salt and pepper containers), oval base on four feet, Baroque style, hinged lids, 9,6x6x4 cm. Oil lamp, h. 28 cm. Most pieces marked. Condition B-C. Provenance: private collection, Bavaria.
