FOUR GLASSES
Bohemia, last quarter of the 18th century - around 1900
Barrel-shaped cup of milk glass with melted handle of opaline glass, painted with color enamels: on the front side, an oval medallion with a half-length portrait of a young man in period dress, emerging from rococo ornamentation, surrounded by floral motifs, gilded rim. H.: 8.5 cm.
Two Biedermeier bell-shaped jugs, with a melted S-shaped handle and a widened base: one made of opaline glass without further decoration, the other in cobalt blue glass adorned with painted floral motifs, small leaves, and gilding, base edged with tiny pearls and a gilded rim. H. 11,2 cm and 11,8 cm. Minor chip on the base of the opaline jug.
Goblet of artistically pressed colorless glass, marbleized with opaque white and light blue, relief decoration imitating diamond pattern, faceted lower part and base. H. 12 cm. Hairline crack.
