TUREEN - ROUEN PATTERN

Upper Hungary, Holíč, Holitscher Fayencemanufaktur 3rd quarter of the 18th century
Faience tureen, oval, deep, with a ribbed Baroque form featuring two handles and a domed lid; the lid handle is shaped like a pinecone with leaves. Monochrome greenish ornamental painting with stylized floral motifs in the so-called Rouen pattern on a white glaze, 26x18x17 cm. Manganeese mark "HF" in ligature. Condition C/D.
