Book format 4°, 30 × 21.2 cm. 131 numbered pages, in Italian. Title page printed in black. The catalogue consists of colour reproductions of the artist’s works with captions. Most of the accompanying texts are by Jindřich Chalupecký. Full cloth binding with gilt lettering. Published by Edizioni Collina in Bologna in 1993 in an edition of 1000 copies, of which 44 were provided with an original drawing by the artist. This drawing is on the front flyleaf, executed in coloured markers and signed with the artist’s monogram. On the title page, the artist’s handwritten dedication to R. Fila dated 20 August 1993; also in his hand are several corrections and additions to the text. Very good condition, binding only slightly rubbed and the leaf with the drawing torn by approx. 0.5 cm at the lower edge. Provenance: acquired from the estate of the Czechoslovak painter, graphic artist, illustrator, photographer, teacher, and writer Rudolf Fila (1932-2015)
