PAIR OF FOLK JUGS

Moravia, Vyškov, probably Jan Velký, 2nd third of the 19th century
Two faience jugs of pear shape on a low foot, with a strap handle and a wide neck, white-glazed, painted with the same floral décor in muffle colours with dominant roses and tulips, manganese outline drawing. H. 18,7 a 19 cm. Unmarked. Condition B-C. Abrasions and craquelure in the glaze, hairline cracks. Provenance: from the collection of PhDr. Miroslav Boček (1915–2005).
