FOOD CABINET

Tibet – Nepal 18th / 19th century
Cabinet of dark coniferous wood with sliding door in the front. Decorated with ornamental carvings, four columns in corners of the top panel and serrated cornice. 128x127x63 cm. Condition restored. The original cabinet was probably for maturing cheeses, converted to a duvet cabinet with two pull-out compartments under the hinged top panel.
