Published by Toussaint Quinet in Paris in 1647. Ownership stamp on the title page "GRAF MAGNIS`SCHE BIBLIOTHEK STRASSNITZ" (the castle library of the Counts of Magnis at Strážnice Castle). The book is slightly damaged by moisture and the binding is slightly loose. The author is the Portuguese diplomat and writer Manoel Fernandes de Vila Real; it was translated into French and reworked by François de Grenaille. The political work analyzes the life, government, political decisions and actions of Cardinal de Richelieu.
