Frontispiece adorned with an original drypoint by František Tichý, signed in pencil "T.57", five further illustrations by the same artist inside. Poems by authors such as Baudelaire, Corbière, Hugo, Verlaine and others. Translated by Viktor Dyk. Printed on laid Maršov paper, published by Nakladatelství československých výtvarných umělců, the publishing enterprise of the Czech Fund of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Society of Czech Bibliophiles in Prague in 1957 as the first print in the Kresby a verše series, in an edition of 1000 copies. Paper wrapper damaged, reinforced with paper tape. Sheets inside in a condition consistent with age.
