Ottoman kavukluk - a turban stand, very skilfully inlaid with African ebony and probably Palestinian mother-of-pearl, with an Ottoman crescent at the top, decorated all over with stars, arabesques, tulips and scrolls. With a Tughra in the upper part - a calligraphic signature of the Sultan. H. 100 cm.
