František Tavík Šimon - Prague painter and graphic artist. He was a student at the Prague Academy under Prof. Pirner. At the same time he completed a study stay in the Balkans. A series of other trips to Europe followed, and he was strongly influenced especially by Paris (in the field of graphic art). He even travelled around the world (he visited Japan, China, India, Ceylon, and others).
