Joža Uprka - Moravian painter and graphic artist from Kněždub. He was inspired by his native region, local folklore and the beauty of traditional costumes. In 1894, he participated in an exhibition in the Paris Salon with his painting "Pouť u sv. Antonínka" and was awarded the "Mention honorable" prize.
