BOWL FROM YELLOW-GLAZED SERVICE

Slovakia, Holíč, 1750–1765
Shallow faience oval-shaped bowl with curved rim, color-painted décor on yellow glaze, chinoiserie figural motif in the centre and four flower motifs in cartouches on white ground in muslin colors. Painted with overglaze colors typical for Holíč ceramics. Length 34 cm, width 28 cm. Underside green mark „HP“. Condition restored. Compare with: J. Kybalová, Holíčská fajans 1743-1827, Prague 1964, cat. No. 13.
