TWO COMMEMORATIVE TANKARDS

Bohemia, 2nd half of the 19th century
Two conical beer cups, cut colorless glass, decorated with engraving, melted handles with tin mounting, glass lids and tumbrests, Smaller tankard decorated with diamond cut and engraved initials „FJ“ engraved inscription on the lid „Karlsbad“. Bigger tankard with wide foot, faceted body and lid, decorated with 2 engraved vedutas of Františkovy Lázně: „Salzquelle und Wiesenquelle“ and „Franzensbrunn“, engraved initials „FJ“. Height 25 cm and 15,5 cm. Condition A/B.
