DAGGER KHANJAR

Ottoman Empire / Persia, after 1930
Steel curved blade with distinctive fuller. Handle made of rhino horn fastened with two rivets on each side. Heads of the rivets made of British threepence from the reign of George V. Wooden scabbard, covered all over with silvered plate with rich granulation and spiral twisted wire. Length of blade 24 cm, total length 40 cm. Condition B.
