Austria-Hungary / Germany, 1st half of the 20th century (WWI and WWII)
360° azimuth scale, German cardinal directions, declination 11°, marked "PATENT BÉZARD", in a bakelite frame, bottom marked "15128", "PATENT BÉZARD" D.R.P.-157329." and logo "GL" (Georg Lufft - Stuttgart). Steel cover, with inscription "DIREKTION" over needle. Condition C/D. Missing mirror. Compass made according to patent of Johann von Bézard from 1902..
