Four copperplates after Abraham von Diepenbeeck from Nuremberg issue of William Cavendish`s work about horse dressage from 1700, published by Johann Ziegers and George Lehmanns. First edition from 1657 was titled “La Methode et Invention Nouvelle de Dresser les Chevaux”. All copperplates mounted, framed and glazed. Passades au Petit Galop a Gauche. Copperplate on paper, 310x385 mm, "Die halbe Volta Links in Passaden. La demÿ Volte à Gauche au Passades....", nembered by the lower right corner "41" and upper right corner "p.i. 86, N. 2". La Tête contre la Muraille. Copperplate on paper, 310x385 mm, marked upper right "pag: i 63". Les Haras. Copperplate on paper, 310x400 mm, marked upper centre "Das Shutt. / Les Haras". La bataillee gaignée. Copperplate on paper, 310x400 mm, cartouche with coat of arms of William Cavendish, marked "La bataillee gaignée. / Die Schlacht ilt gewinner."
