TWO FOLK JUGS

West Slovakia, probably Dobrá Voda, and Transylvania, Turda, 1st quarter of the 19th century (1824)
Faience jug, white glaze, pear-shaped, almost closed neck, narrow spout, painted decor, flower motif surrounded by ornamental strips. Comes with: faience pear-shaped jug, white glaze, painted with floral motifs, date under the neck "1824". H. 23,5 cm and 20,5 cm. No marks. Condition B-C. Compare with: I. Pišútová: Fajansa, Bratislava 1981, Picture No. 183 and 184.
