On the 600th anniversary of the death of Charles IV were minted ducats of pure gold in values: 1, 2, 5 and 10Ducat, in 10000, resp. 20000 copies. 1Ducat with Charle IV, lion, Charles`s initial and dates 1346-1378. 3,49 g, Ø 19,75 mm. 2Ducat: seal of Charles IV, Latin inscription: „KAROLUS.DEI.GRA.ROMANOR.REX.SEMPER.AUGUSTUS.ET.REX.BOEMIE". 6,98 g, Ø 25 mm. 5Ducat: Charles IV with founding charter of the university. 17,45 g, Ø 34 mm. 10Ducat: Prague Castle with Emblem of Prague „PRAGA MATER URBIUM". 34,90 g, Ø 42 mm.
