VIRGIN MARY FROM SVATÁ HORA

Bohemia 1st half of the 19th century
Folk wood carving, mirror-inverted copy of Virgin Mary from Svatá Hora near Příbram, on a low triangular plinth. Massive bronze crowns, high relief designed for the front view, back side is flat, with a hook and residues of a seal. Wood, polychrome, gilding, H. 40 cm. Condition restored. Equipped with NPU certificate (National Heritage Board) for permanent export, NPÚ Brno 2018.
