Serigraph on handmade paper Arches France, image 324x335 mm, sheet 566x382 mm. Signed lower right in print, numbered lower left in pencil "66/100", blindstamp lower left „George Israel editeur“, stamps „Art Gallery New York“ and „Leo Castelli New York“ on the verso. Mounted, framed, glazed. In 1983 Andy Warhol made a series of color screenprints, which depicted 10 endangered species from around the world: Siberian Tiger, San Francisco Silverspot, Orangutan, Grévy`s Zebra, Black Rhinoceros, Bighorn Ram, African Elephant, Pine Barrens Tree Frog, Giant Panda and Bald Eagle. Each print has vibrant colors and iconic expression, which testifies the fate of the animals and makes dynamic tension between art and reality.
