TWO JUGS

West Slovakia, Dechtice, Odler workshop, (1st half) 19th century
Two faience pear-shaped jugs with strip handles, white glaze, painted with floral motifs and ornamental bands. H. 22 cm. First jug with bottom brush mark "O", second unmarked. Condition restored. First jug with crack on the neck, second restored by I. Bizmayer, comes from the inheritance of collector Štefan Cyril Parrák (1887-1969) from Trnava.
