(from a total edition of 225 prints), artist`s stamp with initials "TFŠ" in print and under rhe print. Verso labeled "KORNER & WOOD CO., 1512 Euclid Ave, Cleveland". mounted, framed, glazed. Listed under No. 268 in the catalogue raisoneé by A. Novák. Yellowed paper, stain by the lower edge. František Tavík Šimon - Prague painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Prague Academy with prof. Pirner. At the same time, he completed a Balkan study stay. Than was followed a number of other trips around Europe, so he was strongly influenced by Paris (in the field of graphics). He even went on a trip around the world (he visited Japan, China, India, Ceylon).
