CUP WITH A MINIATURE PAINTING

Bell-shaped cup on a low foot, with a strip handle attached by a relief palmette, younger saucer with matching gilded rims. Central brightly painted genre scene depicting a pair of girls with a cat in front of a building entrance, observing a couple of doves, with a glimpse of the landscape in the background and a watching boy. H. 7,5 cm, diameter of saucer 15,5 cm. Blue printed circular stamp "KOENIGL. PORZELLAN MANUFACTUR", same smaller mark with scepter also on the saucer (1849-1870). Condition A.
