MADONNA OF VAMBEŘICE

Folk carving of standing, originally crowned Virgin Mary with child on her right arm and an apple in her left hand, on a newer undecorated pĺinth. It is a rustic variation of the devotional statue of the Virgin Mary of Vambeřice. Wood, polychrome, gilding, h. of figure 22 cm. Condition C. Missing crown and dove in child`s hand + scratches in polychrome, mostly on the back side.
