CUP WITH GRISAILLE PAINTING

Cylindrical cup with small handle and a deeper saucer, white porcelain, decorated in the style of the Parisian Manufacture De Locré: miniature painting in brown-gray tones with gilded details depicting a horse rider accompanied by a dog and two landscape details, gilded staffage with Anthemion pattern. H. 6,2 cm, diameter 13,3 cm. Gold brush mark of the painter "R" with three dots on sides. Condition A. Slightly loose gilding. Provenance: private collection, Bavaria.
