Porcelain figure of a girl in an oriental costume, leaning towards a cobra, which she controls with a flute; low rectangular plinth. White porcelain, flesh tones, color painted under the glaze in cool tones. Publ. in: D. Struss: Rosenthal. Service, Figuren, Zier- und Kunstobjekte, Augsburg 1995, p. 52. H. 19,5 cm. Green printed mark "Rosenthal SELB-BAVARIA" with a scratch, impressed model no. "K. 442." and no. "12", signed on plinth "B. Boess", blue brush mark "K". Condition A. Provenance: private collection, Bavaria.
