Title page and text printed in black and red. 165 numbered pages, in Czech, translated by Ferdinand Stiebitz. 13 intaglio reproductions of drawings by Antonín Procházka. The hardcover half-leather binding was made by Jindřich Svoboda (marked with a blind embossed stamp on the back endpaper), spine with 9 raised bands, gilded decoration and letters. Typographic design by Oldřich Menhart. Published in the spring of 1941 by Jan V. Pojer in Brno, copy no. 145. Cardboard case. Very good condition, only several spots on the paper, worn case. Vítězslav Nezval: Balady Manoně. Básně z let 1939-1940. Book format 12°, 18x10,8 cm. 71 numbered pages, in Czech. Title page and text printed in black and blue. The hardcover suede binding with the poet`s gilded initials was made by Jindřich Svoboda (marked with a blind embossed stamp on the back endpaper), spine with 5 raised bands and gold letters, cover bound inside. Typographic design by František Muzika. Issued in 1945 in Melantrich in Prague in 500 numbered copies signed by the poet, copy no. 265. Cardboard case. Very good condition, only one bent corner and slightly worn spine.
