An album of ten original prints, all signed by the artists (some also dated – always in pencil on the backing sheet). Book format 2°, 49,5 x 35 cm. Title page printed in black and brown. The introductory text was written by Karel Teige, with his signature below the text. Loose sheets of Rembrandt van Ryn handmade paper with mounted gelatin silver prints of similar dimensions, approximately 30 x 40 cm, from the original negatives of the listed artists from 1930-1943. Contents: 1. Josef Ehm: Abandonment (1938), 2. Josef Ehm: Cactuses (1935), 3. Jaromír Funke: Forest (1937), 4. Jaromír Funke: Time Endures (1932), 5. Miroslav Hák: In the Courtyard (1943), 6. Miroslav Hák: Early Spring (1942), 7. Karel Plicka: Old Highlander (1930), 8. Karel Plicka: Bridge Tower in Prague (1936), 9. Josef Sudek: In the Cathedral (1942), 10. Josef Sudek: Spring Landscape (1940). Stored in a sturdy full-cloth boards with flaps. Published by Národní práce in Prague in December 1943 in 55 copies. Complete cycle; all photographs, the introductory sheet, and the boards show signs of irreversible mold damage, restored. Minor silver mirroring in the darks.
