Austria, Vienna, Wiener Manufaktur Goldscheider approx. 1918-1920
A dancer with one leg stepped forward, her head tilted toward the left shoulder, her left hand on her hip and her right hand holding the hem of her dress; a flowing scarf drapes from her elbow to the oval base. Glazed ceramic, painted in muted pastel tones. H. 32,5 cm. Black printed underglaze mark "GOLDSCHEIDER WIEN", embossed model no. on plinth "4690 / 201 / 65" and name of the designer "Lindner", brush marks "F." and "VI.". Condition restored.
