A pair of children`s sculptures, porcelain decorated with underglaze painting in natural pastel tones, on low rectangular bases. "Sommerritt" – a figure of a boy on a meadow grasshopper, design 1916. "Schneckenpost" – an angel sitting on a snail`s shell, design 1913. H. 9 cm. Green printed underglaze marks "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA", first with a shield with a war cross and years "1914 / 1916", embossed model no. "K 440.", or „205.", green brush marks, written signature of the designer on the plinth "A. Caasmann.", Condition B. Minor restoration (the antennae of the snail, the hind leg of the grasshopper).
