Alexander Moissi (1880–1935), actor of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, in the role of "Jedermann" in Hugo von Hofmannsthal`s play from 1911. Porcelain, underglaze painting in pastel shades. H. 21,5 cm. At the front of the plinth, the name of the actor and role; at the back, the designer`s signature "Th. Harth." Green printed underglaze mark "Rosenthal Kunst-Abteilung SELB-BAVARIA" and a shield with an Iron Cross and the dates "1914 / 1915." Impressed model number "K 272." Condition A.
