Profile portraits of a presumably married couple from the Biedermeier period, created as cut-out, layered, and relief-embossed silhouettes made from glossy colored paper with gilded applications, h. of silhouette 9,5 cm and 10,5 cm. Set under glass in wooden frames with pressed and gilded metal covers (repoussée), 17,2x14,2 cm. Signed in ink on the verso "Silhouetirt im Monate März 1846 von Laurenz Klinger".
