Book format 8°, 19,8x14,2 cm. 405 numbered pages, in Czech, translated by Josef Florian. Title page designed by the author, printed in black. Frontispiece features a collotype portrait of Léon Bloy by Frédéric Brou. The colophon includes Bloy’s vignette, and at the beginning of the book, there are four pages of facsimiles of the author’s manuscript. Hardcover half-leather binding, stamped on the rear pastedown with a blind-embossed mark "JAR. MERENDA"; spine with four raised bands and gold lettering, in a cardboard slipcase. Published by Antonín Ludvík Stříž in Stará Říše, Moravia, in November 1910 as the 33rd volume of Studia, in an edition of 300 unnumbered copies. Signature of Josef Florian on the front blank endpaper. Minor traces of mold, slightly worn edges of the binding, mildly faded and stained spine and corners, worn slipcase. A.
