Book format 4°, 22,2x21,6 cm. Unpaginated, French translation from 1316. Contains 17 illustrations by G. Barbier, printed in black and gold. Luxurious half-leather custom binding, spine with gilt decoration and lettering. Cardboard slipcase with cloth and paper covering, marked with gold embossing "V. DÉRO." The original cover is bound at the beginning of the book. Published in Paris by La Belle Édition in 1914 in a total edition of 240 copies; this copy is numbered "197" and printed on vergé calendré paper from the Canson et Montgolfier manufactory. Slightly worn case, otherwise in excellent condition.
