A semi-nude dancer in an Oriental costume, bending toward a cobra, which she controls by playing a flute. White porcelain, gilded details, on a low rectangular base. H. 19,5 cm. Green printed underglaze mark "Rosenthal SELB-BAVARIA", embossed model no. "K 442.", gold brush signature of the painter, engraved signature of the designer on the plinth "B. Boehs.". Condition restored. Glued flute.
