Two porcelain sculptures of sitting rabbits, hand-painted in natural grey/brown tones under the glaze. Theodor Kärner (1884-1966): sitting rabbit, model 86, 1935 (design from the 1920s). Karl Himmelstoss (1872-1967): lying rabbit, model K. 259, 1932 (design from 1913). L. 13 cm, h. 13 cm. Green printed underglaze marks "Rosenthal Germany" / "Rosenthal SELB-BAVARIA" + gold sticker "Rosenthal WELTMARKE DES PORZELLANS," impressed signatures of the designers and model numbers. Condition A.
