Author’s bound-in set of illustrations (heliogravures) by Mikuláš Galanda on Holland paper. Contemporary full leather custom binding, green leather, spine with 2 false raised bands covered with coloured leather, label with gilt title, coloured ornament applications, boards inlaid with coloured leather, gilt decoration, two-colour headband. Card slipcase covered with bookbinder’s paper, on rear pastedown stamped "K DUDEŠEK". Published by Melantrich in Prague in 1948 as vol. 60 of the Poesie series in an edition of 2000 copies. 1st edition. Very good condition, only slightly faded spine.
