Published by Gerlach & Wiedling in Vienna and Leipzig as vol. 3 of the series Gerlach’s Jugendbücherei, undated, after 1900. Contemporary publisher’s half-cloth binding. Binding slightly damaged, spine faded and spotted, text block in very good condition, only a few minor stains.
Franz Keim: Die Nibelungen. Book format 8°, 14.6 × 13.5 cm. 67 numbered pp., in German. Title double-page printed in black. Design and illustrations (8 double-page spreads, printed in colour and gold) by Carl Otto Czeschka. Published by Gerlach & Wiedling in Vienna and Leipzig in 1920 as vol. 22 of the series Gerlach’s Jugendbücherei. Contemporary publisher’s half-cloth binding. Binding slightly soiled, paper lightly stained in places, otherwise in good condition. Another copy is held in the collection of MoMA, object number 22.1981.1-8. Thanks to its exceptional illustrations, this is the most valuable volume of the series.

Contemporary publisher’s full cloth binding. Published by R. Promberg in Olomouc in 1908. Signed by the author. Binding rubbed and slightly loosened, some leaves creased and soiled.
