Binding slightly damaged, spine faded and spotted, text block in very good condition, only a few minor stains. Franz Keim: Die Nibelungen. Book format 8°, 14.6 × 13.5 cm. 67 numbered pp., in German. Title double-page printed in black. Design and illustrations (8 double-page spreads, printed in colour and gold) by Carl Otto Czeschka. Published by Gerlach & Wiedling in Vienna and Leipzig in 1920 as vol. 22 of the series Gerlach’s Jugendbücherei. Contemporary publisher’s half-cloth binding. Binding slightly soiled, paper lightly stained in places, otherwise in good condition. Another copy is held in the collection of MoMA, object number 22.1981.1-8.
