L. Kober in Prague in 1870 as vol. 4 of the series Národní bibliotéka. Výbor prací celnějších (sic!) spisovatelů českoslovanských and vol. 2 of the collected works of Božena Němcová. Binding rubbed, slightly loosened at the beginning and end, leaves lightly stained, otherwise in good condition, text block intact. Book format 4°, 23 × 16 cm. 154 numbered pp., in Czech. With 8 illustrations by Věnceslav Černý, of which 4 are coloured lithographs with tissue guards. Title page printed in black. Contemporary half-cloth binding with mounted coloured lithograph, spine with gilt lettering. Published by Alois Hynek in Prague, undated. Binding rubbed and soiled, otherwise in good condition, only minor stains in places.
