Oil on plywood, 39,5x52,5 cm (53,5x67 cm), marked lower left "J. Ernst". Framed. It is most likely a work by Julius Ernst, a Swiss painter born in 1870, about whom, apart from a few notes mentioning him as a landscape painter, very little verifiable information is available. Condition B.
