A work characterised by a sensitive balance between abstraction and lyrical landscape painting. It employs a gently blurred palette in warm yellow-orange tones that evoke the atmospheric light of dusk or an energy field on the boundary between reality and inner vision. Eichler’s characteristic handling of diffused forms and light creates the impression of a meditative space that transcends the concrete motif and moves towards a timeless symbolism. A subtle point of reference within the composition helps the viewer maintain orientation in an otherwise dreamlike, emotionally charged landscape. It thus gains fundamental importance and becomes the Newtonian point around which everything revolves. The painting is an example of Eichler’s ability to unite a sensitive painterly language with a spiritual dimension of expression.
