FOUR COLUMNS AND A DOORFRAME

West Bohemia 17th century
Fragmentary segments of an interior doorframe made of oak, coniferous, and walnut wood. Dimensions: 128x73x13 cm, 2 identical columns 128x28x21 cm, corner column 128x23 cm, pilaster 115x18x6 cm. The items were acquired from the interior of a rural house belonging to a deceased collector who, according to his family, had removed them from a now-lost ecclesiastical building somewhere in the West Bohemian border region during the 1950s.
