Writing secrétaire with a central drop-front writing surface and side drawers, featuring a double-curved façade on both the lower and upper sections. The three-drawer commode on bun feet forms the base for the central and upper parts, which are arranged in three tiers of three drawers each, crowned by a single central drawer at the top. Entirely decorated with walnut veneer, banded and surface marquetry, and stringing of walnut, maple, and burr veneers. Period bronze fittings. 179x125x64 cm. Condition C.
