TWO PAINTED BOTTLES

Apothecary bottle of clear glass with a narrow ring-shaped neck and a broad collar, the front with a polychrome enamel-painted cartouche surmounted by a crown and a white reserve label inscribed in black “AQ: VULNER: THED:”. H. 15.5 cm. Chip to collar. Spirit bottle (pryska) of clear glass, of cubic form with a narrow neck; the body painted in coloured enamels with a central motif of a man holding aloft a drinking cup, the sides ornamented with folk decorative motifs. The reverse with the German inscription “Bruder komm her ein zum Brantewein”. H. 16.5 cm. Condition B-C.
