GOLD POCKET WATCH WITH A CHATELAINE

Gold triple-case pocket watch. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals for the hours, fitted with a pair of gold hands and a subsidiary seconds hand, marked "HY MOSER & CE," Ø 4.3 cm. The front cover decorated with an equal-armed cross in red guilloché enamel. The back cover bears a Russian inscription referring to Empress Maria Feodorovna. Further marked "ECHAPPEMENT A ANCRE 15 Pierres QUALITE LEPINE No. 43120" and fineness "56 / 14 K" (580/1000). Total gross weight 163.87 g. The chatelaine, length 34 cm, is fitted with two pendants: a tassel with a blue stone and a Dutch ducat, probably from 1828. Condition B. Functionality untested..
