PAINTED STRONGBOX

Early 19th century
A rectangular iron body. The lid edges are reinforced with iron bands. A central keyhole in the lid, covered by a latch in the form of a coat of arms. Original key. Lock mechanism with multiple bolts. The outer surfaces are decorated with polychrome painting of floral motifs. Dimensions: 26×40×27 cm. Condition B/C. Paint worn off in many places..
