GOBLET WITH ENGRAVING

A goblet of colourless glass, cut and engraved, with a flat foot, a baluster faceted stem, and a conical bowl faceted into a dodecahedron. The front features a matt-engraved cartouche with polished roundels depicting a pomegranate and grapevine motif; on the reverse, a smaller cartouche with winged heads and the monogram "JW", belonging to the prominent Czech entrepreneur and art patron Jindřich Waldes (1876–1941). H. 14.8 cm. Company mark "MN" on the base. Condition B. Minor chip on the edge of the foot.
